Anna Patrowicz

Franco-Palestinian chef and hotelier Fadi Kattan has become the voice of modern Palestinian cuisine. Hailing from a Bethlehem family that has on the maternal side cultivated a francophone culture and on the paternal side, a British culture with passages in India, Japan and the Sudan, Fadi’s cuisine and savoir-faire combine worldly influences, a desire for perfection and a passion for the local terroir. He recently released his first cookbook Bethlehem: a Celebration of Palestinian Food. He has been championing Palestinian wines and spirits since his restaurant Fawda in Bethlehem, at Akub in London and in the new projects and pop-ups he does across the world.

Anna Patrowicz rose through the world of sommellerie in London, developing a passion and an extensive knowledge of wines, from the very established vineyards of the world to the rare gems unknown. Her love for nature, the terroirs, and her technical knowledge, as well as her experience both in wine tasting and wine/food pairing, bring a sensitive, respectful set of fresh eyes and palate to explore the terroirs of Palestine with a curiosity and a deep sense of understanding of the people and the stories that make this particular landscape. For Anna, wine is “a journey through emotions, love, respect of craftsmanship, and a story.”
