Her award-winning short stories have recently appeared in The Massachusetts Review, Prairie Schooner, World Literature Today, and Redline: Chicago Horror Stories. Her first novel, The Beauty of Your Face, was a finalist for the 2021 Palestine Book Awards and named a 2020 Notable Book by New York Times Book Review. Mustafah writes and teaches outside of Chicago.
