Nicole Hamouche

is a consultant, journalist and writer who contributes to major French and English language publications in Europe and Lebanon. The Levant and the Mediterranean inspire and irrigate her writings; she is particularly interested in socio-political and socio-economic issues, civil society, memory and peace building, intercultural dialogue, art and culture, heritage and architecture. She was elected best blogger by Mondoblog-RFI Radio France International for her blog penseesdebeyrouth.mondoblog.org. Passionate about storytelling, literature and creative writing, she was awarded the short story competition prize of the Forum des Femmes de la Mediterranée sponsored by UNESCO and has contributed to several collective publications including The Silent Leaders, Lebanese Revolution, October 17, 2019 and Beyrouth à coeur ouvert.
