Dia Barghouti

is a bilingual (Arabic, English) Palestinian playwright and researcher. She holds a PhD in Drama and Theatre Arts from Goldsmiths, University of London (2021) and is currently a fellow at the Palestinian American Research Center (PARC). Her research explores indigenous performance traditions in Tunisia and Palestine, with a special focus on Sufi rituals. Her writings have appeared in New Theatre Quarterly, Performance Research, Jadaliyya, Bab el-Wad, among other academic and cultural journals. She is also the author of several plays, her most recently completed work is titled Journey to the Third Dimension of a Clementine.
