Jim Quilty

Jim Quilty is a Beirut-based writer, journalist, film critic and editor. He’s written about the cinema, contemporary art and cultural production of the Middle East and North Africa for two decades. He edited and contributed to the arts and culture pages of The Daily Star, Lebanon’s former English-language broadsheet, for over a decade. He has published cultural journalism in sundry publications, including Middle East Eye, Variety, Di’van, Canvas, and Bidoun and is preparing a study on the work of a prominent Palestinian filmmaker and artist, to be published in the UK by Palgrave.
