Nina Hubinet

is a journalist born in Marseille. She began her career as a correspondent in Egypt for French and French-speaking newspapers, notably La Croix, L’Express and LeTemps. There, she co-directed a web documentary, Sout El Shabab, la voix des jeunes, and a radio documentary, Egypte, carnets intimes d’une révolution. Returning to France in 2014, she worked with France 24 and Causette. Now based in Marseille, she works mainly on environmental and social issues, notably for Bastamag, Politis and Marsactu. In 2018, she co-directed the documentary Fos, les fumées du silence for France 3 PACA. At the same time, she regularly visits middle schools, high schools and social centers in Marseille and the surrounding area to run media and information education workshops.
