Amy Omar

is a Turkish-American writer and filmmaker based in New York City. Her non-narrative writing has appeared in Screen Slate, The Brooklyn Rail, Electric Literature and IDA Magazine. Her short film, Breaking Fast with a Coca-Cola premiered at SXSW in 2023. She is currently in development on two feature-length screenplays.
