Pour ce troisième podcast Radio Tabbouli, TMR vous emmène à la Biennale des Arts de la Scène en Méditerranée (BASM) pour sa 2ème édition. Nous y rencontrerons deux femmes engagées, Giovanna Tanzarella et Simone Bitton, pour une Méditerranée ouverte où l’art, les discussions et les idées circulent.
Au menu : l’interview de Giovanna Tanzarella chercheuse et actrice de la société civile qui est intervenue dans le cadre d’une conférence sur le thème : L’art et la culture en Méditerranée : des liens solides entre deux rives ? Pour Giovanna “l’art et la culture sont le sang qui circule dans le corps des pays”. Nous continuerons avec la rencontre de la cinéaste Simone Bitton invitée à une projection-débat de son documentaire de 1991 Conversation Nord-Sud: une discussion entre Serge Daney et Elias Sanbar. Simone nous parle de son histoire en tant que juive marocaine, de ses engagements, de sa passion pour le cinéma et de l’indépendance de ses opinions.

For this third episode of the Radio Tabbouli podcast, TMR takes you to the 2nd Biennial of Performing Arts in the Mediterranean. Here, we meet two women who are committed to an open Mediterranean in which art, discussion and ideas circulate: Giovanna Tanzarella and Simone Bitton.
On the menu: an interview with Giovanna Tanzarella, researcher and civil society actress, who was invited to speak at a conference on the theme: “Art and Culture in the Mediterranean: Strong Links between Two Shores?” For Giovanna, “art and culture are the blood that circulates in the bodies of countries.” In the second part of the episode, we meet filmmaker Simone Bitton, who has been invited to the event for a screening of her 1991 documentary, “Conversation Nord-Sud: a discussion between Serge Daney and Elias Sanbar.” Simone discusses her history as a Moroccan Jew, her commitments, her passion for cinema and the independence of her opinions.
