Silvia Hassouna

is a lecturer in human geography at Durham University in the UK. Her research focuses on the interplay between settler colonialism, environmental politics and art as a form of resistance in the Middle East. In addition to her academic publications, Silvia’s writing has appeared in platforms for contemporary visual arts, including Third Text Online and Corridor8.
