She is the author of three novels, Cactus Girls, Turkish Dream, and The Other Woman, as well as the short story collection Wound Below the Abdomen. She has received several literary awards, including the Moroccan Writers’ Union Prize for Young Writers in 2016 and the Mohamed Zafzaf Prize for the Arabic Novel in 2020 for Cactus Girls. Her writing focuses on exploring the intimate and darker aspects of women’s lives through a style that is simple, ironic, and poetic. Through their stories, she delves into the complexities of family life and questions of alienation, love, and the body. Her work has been translated into French, English, Spanish, and Slovenian.
