works at the intersection of arts and human rights. He is the director of English PEN, a member of Action for Hope, a trustee of Highlight Arts, and a former board member of The Syria Campaign between 2015—2021. He was a contributor to Syria Speaks: Art and Culture from the Frontline (2014).
