Viet Thanh Nguyen

Author of the Pulitzer-Prize winning novel The Sympathizer and its sequel, The Committed, Viet Thanh Nguyen is the Aerol Arnold Chair of English, and Professor of English, American Studies and Ethnicity, and Comparative Literature at the University of Southern California. He is also the author of Race and Resistance: Literature and Politics in Asian America (Oxford University Press, 2002), a collection of stories, The Refugees (Grove 2017), and editor of the anthology The Displaced: Refugee Writers on Refugee Lives (Harry N.
