Sally AlHaq is a writer and feminist who teaches courses on gender in Cairo at NVIC, in which she focuses on the intersections between gender, colonialism and nationalism, and explores decolonized approaches to knowledge in hopes of bridging the political and the personal. She cofounded the Ikhtyar African Feminist Collective (2013-2022) and is published on various platforms, including Mada Masr.
