Marianne Roux

is a freelance consultant based between Marseille and Alexandria (Egypt), working on projects related to civil society and media in the MENA region.  She holds a Master’s degree in European Studies from the University of Aix-Marseille, a Master’s degree in Euro-Mediterranean Religious Studies from Science Po Aix, and a graduate in Arab & Islamic Civilization. She has also been working as a journalist since 2011, focusing on cultural production and social issues in North African and Middle Eastern countries. Her articles have been published on several websites such as Babelmed.net, OnOrient, Orient XXI, Medfeminiswiya or Le Courrier de l’Atlas.
