is a British-Syrian writer and political activist. In 2021 their debut collection Fetch Your Mother’s Heart was released by Out-Spoken Press.  Their poems, essays and fiction have been published in journals and newspapers internationally, including by New England Review, BBC Radio 4, Al Jazeera and PEN Transmissions. Their short film Lesbian. which was produced by Channel 4. They have written three verse-plays, including the immersive installation opera on decolonial climate justice, what the dog said to the harvest. They are currently writing their PhD in resistance literature, proposing a practical poetic for social movements. They believe in transnational community organising and grassroots action as a means of liberation. They were organiser and spokesperson for the direct action network Palestine Action before it was prohibited as a terrorist organisation in the UK in 2025. They are a coordinator of the Filton25 Defence Committee, organising for those imprisoned by the British state for joining the struggle for Palestinian liberation.
