Safa Elnaili

is an associate professor of Arabic language and literature and Arabic program director at the University of Alabama. She is a Libyan literature researcher and translator who has published several research articles and literary translations with national and international venues. Dr. Elnaili earned an MFA in creative writing and literary translation from VCFA. She has a translated book titled The Finest Thief in the Kingdom with DARF, to be published in late 2025.
