Mya Guarnieri Jaradat is an American-Israeli writer married to a Palestinian. A journalist who has covered stories of Palestinians in the West Bank and African asylum seekers in Israel, she is the author of the critically-acclaimed The Unchosen: The Lives of Israel’s New Others. After almost a decade in Israel and the occupied Palestinian Territories, Mya is based in South Florida with her family.
