is a short story writer and psychologist. She completed her degree in psychology at Kabul University after which she went to Symbiosis University, India to complete a Master’s degree in communication management. Once back in Kabul she worked as a communications manager for various NGOs whilst also establishing her own women-led counseling service, the Meaning of Life. Bamyani is a contributor to My Pen Is the Wing of a Bird (London: MacLehose Press, 2022), Rising After the Fall (London: Scholastic, 2023) and My Dear Kabul (London: Cornet/Hodder, 2024). She now lives in Germany.
