Eman Al Yousuf

is an Emirati writer who has published three novels Al Nafitha Allati Absarat [The Window Which Saw] (Kitab Publishing, 2014); Haris Al Shams [Guard the Sun] (al-Faraby, 2015) — winner of the 2016 Emirates Novel Award that was translated into seven languages — and Qiamat Al Akhareen [The Resurrection of Others] ] (Dar Mamdouh Adwan & Dar Sard, 2019). Al Yousuf is a columnist and editor for AlRoeya newspaper, and published a collection of interviews with women Emirati writers. She is also the writer of the feminist short film Ghafa, which was screened at the 2017 Dubai International Film Festival.
