Elena Pare

is an emerging translator of fiction and socio-cultural texts from French, German, and Arabic into English and French. She contributes to ArabLit, The Camera, and The Markaz Review and freelances for GINGKO, a charity that funds and publishes academic work in the Middle East and North Africa. Pare grew up in Paris and studied Arabic and Persian at the University of Cambridge.
