Aya Chalabee

is an Iraqi-Finnish author and translator whose literary work spans short stories, children’s literature, and literary translation. She explores themes of identity, migration, and language. Her short stories have appeared in two collections: No Sun in Baghdad (2015) and Two Friends in Ur (2021), and in anthologies and literary magazines. Chalabee is also involved in bilingual children’s book projects that promote cultural understanding.
