is a Lebanese journalist, editor, and author who writes about the intersection of politics, culture, and society. Her work has appeared in publications including Teen Vogue, Al Jazeera English, Condé Nast Traveler, and The Observer Magazine. She is the editor of Our Women on the Ground: Essays by Arab Women Reporting from the Arab World, and the author of Eyeliner: A Cultural History. She is currently editing Let It Be a Tale: Palestinian Journalists on Survival and Resistance.
