is a writer from Afghanistan. She has a BA in Persian Literature from Kabul University, where she also studied psychology and philosophy. Shamsia worked as a secondary school teacher before the fall of Kabul in 2021. She says she started writing while at school because needed a place to share her pain. Writing gives her a sense of peace. She starts each day with a new idea, the challenge lies in executing them well.
