Shahd Alshammari

Dr. Shahd Alshammari is a Kuwaiti-Palestinian Assistant Professor of Literature at the Gulf University for Science and Technology in Kuwait. She is the author of Literary Madness in British, Postcolonial, and Bedouin Women’s Fiction (2016) and Head Above Water (2022).  Her research centers around disability and illness narratives.
