Re'al Bakhit

is a Sudanese writer and creator based in Istanbul. She holds a BSc in MIS from the American University of Sharjah, MSc in IT from the University of Aberdeen and a Creative Writing MA diploma from BathSpa University. She is currently a writing workshop facilitator and beta reader for The Writers Club. She recently finished working on her debut novel, a political/speculative woman\’s fiction chronicling the lives of three Sudanese refugees as they grapple with life and love despite grieving a home and culture that are being erased from collective memory by technology and forces beyond their control.
