Ghida Ismail is a policy and research specialist with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), where she works on using data and evidence to inform UNDP’s programs and strategy globally. Her research has covered diverse social and economic issues in the Middle East, East Africa, and South Asia, including social protections for informal workers, urban mobility, access to affordable transportation and the labor market, social cohesion, and farmer empowerment.
