Francesca Vawdrey

is currently undertaking a PhD on Palestinian women’s literature and the Palestinian archive at the University of Cambridge. She is a first-time contributor to The Markaz Review and has previously written for Middle East Eye. She has also carried out editorial work for Nizwa Magazine and the Oxford Middle East Review.
