Dina Rezk

is an Associate Professor in Modern Middle Eastern History and Politics at the University of Reading. Her research lies at the intersection of security, authority, and popular culture with a more recent focus on emotions, trauma, and the relationship between political and personal transformation. She has been funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council, British Academy, and Leverhulme Trust, and she is a BBC New Generation Thinker.
