Founding editor Jordan Elgrably and senior editor Lina Mounzer from The Markaz Review welcome you to an professional yet informal gathering at Raseef in Hamra, during which they’ll talk about what’s next for the review, and present two of their books, Sumūd: A New Palestinian Reader (co-edited with Malu Halasa) from Seven Stories Press, and Stories from the Center of the World: New Middle East Fiction from City Lights.
