\u2014after Goya\u2019s Disparate alegre<\/em> (Merry folly)<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0
\n<\/strong>We dance in the dark as the world slowly turns\u00a0\u00a0
\nand our shadows fall dumb
\nas the candlestick burns.<\/p>\n

Look how we move, <\/em>we say, blind in our pleasure,\u00a0
\nand, don\u2019t we look good
\n<\/em>as we\u2019re dancing together?<\/em><\/p>\n

The land, it shrinks further, the sea rises higher,\u00a0\u00a0
\nbut, let\u2019s raise a toast,<\/em> we all cry,
\nTo the weather!<\/em><\/p>\n

The feet of the hanged man dance quicker, dance faster,
\nas we close our eyes\u00a0\u00a0
\nand we toast to our pleasure.<\/p>\n
