\/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Blood that flowed amply between my thighs<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Forming stains on the tiles;<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It was meant to be a child.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I told myself: It\u2019s Just Blood<br \/>\n<\/span><span imagined a child with thick brows<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Emerging from a spot on the tiles<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">and stumbling into the hallway.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I don\u2019t think about the world<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">And I don\u2019t care for children<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">When they laugh loudly<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I wish they\u2019d be quiet<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">When they roam around asking for money<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I wish they\u2019d go away<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">And I\u2019d finally stopped seeing myself<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In every depressed child.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I drank up many years<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To quickly escape my childhood<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I drank almost daily<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">So that I can laugh<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I welcomed the hand asking for a dance<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For love is \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Then was silent for a whole night<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Simply breathing<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Made me euphoric.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I knew about the child inside me<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">But thought,<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As I drank the wine straight from the bottle:<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I want him dead.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The next morning<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I swallowed a smuggled pill on the metro<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">And thought: He\u2019ll die on the street<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">He\u2019ll be a dead child, a beautiful child.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I smoked a full pack of cigarettes<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">And when I started feeling ill<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">My friends said I was depressing them.<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I apologized quickly and spent two hours in the public bathroom.<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The blood might never stop.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">My child flowed, blood, drugs, alcohol and nicotine<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I know I didn\u2019t feel a thing<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">And hardly suffered \u2026<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">But I thought<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As I washed the blood off the tiles<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">That he would\u2019ve been a human<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">And that I carry inside my body<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A chest full of children<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Children with thick brows<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">And colored eyes<br 400;\">in the midst of cars<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The world outside me is beyond me<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The world inside me is beyond me.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">My friends came to pull me away<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">They said I\u2019m depressing myself<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As I dug my hand into my coat pocket<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A child in a plastic bag.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">They also said life is beautiful<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">And I am young<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Someone mumbled about a good therapist<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">And held my arm\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As I cried<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Digging my other hand into my pocket<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Shaking the hand of a \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If I\u2019m waiting for someone<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I say: Yes.<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">He takes his hands off the chair<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">and leaves\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Before I can explain<br 400;\">If they grow legs<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Jump high and learn to cuddle<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Then death season<br \/>\n<\/span><span
