Duyan&#8217;s poetry is based on finding unique linguistic forms that fit the respective content of the poem. Through a visible structure, he combines complex metaphors in a rhythmic way, to integrate the daily language by decontextualizing it, and to construct a network of meaning in the background. He is influenced by the art movements of Futurism, Surrealism, conceptual art, and medieval Middle Eastern poetry as well as the modern conception of functionality in architecture.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"font_8 wixui-rich-text__text\"><span class=\"wixui-rich-text__text\">Some poems, built like houses with architectural intention, draw us in through their overall design, clean fine lines breaking at striking angles, guiding our eyes through carefully defined spaces opening to hallways that irresistibly lead us to unexpected enclosures where natural light plays among the walls breathe life into the lives for which they are intended.\u00a0 Where form and function are inseparable, the space is not merely for dwelling. It asks to be experienced. \/>\nplease press and hold zero with all your strength<br \/>\nif you can\u2019t quite remember your grandfather<br \/>\nlook in the mirror<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\">for the dust smell in vintage bookstores<br \/>\nsay the third letter of the name<br \/>\nof a laborer who can\u2019t read or write<br \/>\nfor your neighborhood tailor who was found dead in tattered clothes<br \/>\nplease hold<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\">for the woman in your sleep<br \/>\nfor that unforeseen moment when you touched her neck<br \/>\nwait for the beep then<br \/>\npress the same number over and over<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\">the day after you were ditched<br \/>\nwrite in your notebook one hundred times<br \/>\n<em>I<\/em> <em>will<\/em><em> never<\/em> <em>fall<\/em><em> in love<\/em> <em>again<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\">beep<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h4 style=\"padding-left: 80px;\">Maybe One Day<\/h4>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\">maybe<br \/>\nthe stubborn habits<br \/>\nwe pluck like loose buttons<br \/>\nin a fit of laughter<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\">maybe<br \/>\nthe unacknowledged grief<br \/>\nwe share<br \/>\nlike a birthday cake<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\">maybe<br \/>\nfate<br \/>\nwe slice finely with a large bread knife<br \/>\nand turn into an architectural whimsy<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\">maybe<br \/>\nthe absence of a departed we receive like a gift<br \/>\nand place in the most special corner<br \/>\nof the house<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\">maybe<br \/>\nthe fear of death<br \/>\nwe throw in the bonfire<br \/>\nalong with dry branches to add spark to our joy<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\">maybe<br \/>\neverything lost to my memory<br \/>\nI blow into<br \/>\na colorful balloon<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\">maybe<br \/>\nall the words<br \/>\ninto polysemous words<br \/>\nas acts of political dissent<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left:
