or Kashog-ji?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>From an American perspective<br \/>perhaps the most notable thing<\/p>\n<p>about the case of the Saudi <br \/>journalist was that for two<\/p>\n<p>straight days, no matter<br \/>where you turned, from<\/p>\n<p>NPR to Fox or CNN<br \/>they all pronounced<\/p>\n<p>his name Kashog-ji\u2014<br \/>it was as if the NSA<\/p>\n<p>had installed a<br \/>pronunciation<\/p>\n<p>chip into the<br \/>collective <\/p>\n<p>mind of <br \/>the MSM<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>                                Translation theory<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Maybe some of these people who<br \/>think they can translate Hafez or<br \/>Rumi freely without even knowing<br \/>the language ought to try working<br \/>GITMO, like my friend Khaled,<br \/>where he couldn&#8217;t say a word<br \/>someone else hadn&#8217;t already said<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>            <\n\n\n\n\n
